As an avid cyclist, Burchfield cycles hundreds of miles across the mid-south experiencing first-hand the obstacles and problems farmers and small businesses face. It’s that first-hand experience that motivates his philosophy for Burchfield & Associates.

Like 90% of the businesses they service, Burchfield & Associates is a small business. Located in Searcy, Arkansas. B & A has been helping farmers and small businesses since 1990. Owner Larry Burchfield was born and raised on a row crop and cattle farm in southeast Arkansas. Larry has never strayed from the delta spending his adult life involved in agriculture in one form or another. He has been a producer, commodity broker, commodity advisor, and farm news reporter. Even today, Burchfield combines all those elements of experience to oversee Burchfield and Associates, an agriculture and small business service company.
With the same dedication to farming, Burchfield has expanded the company to include services to assist small businesses. The services are specifically designed to assist small businesses from startup through expansion. Burchfield understands the problems facing rural America. It can be especially tough starting a new business. The lack of capital is a major obstacle facing many entrepreneurs. With their vast knowledge of government guaranteed programs and loan packaging, B & A can assist small business startups find the right loan package to get started. Numerous grants programs are available from government and non-government agencies, B & A can help with search out the right grant(s) and write the grant applications.
With its extensive network of government, non-profit community action agencies, and non-bank agencies, B & A can find the right elements to help. Some larger grant/loan applications may require a feasibility study, Burchfield & Associates can also prepare feasibility studies.
